Only 2 weeks and 1 day until I move into my dorm at college. How psyched am I? Work finally ended last week. I don't much like other people's children. Even the sweet ones get on your nerves after 6 weeks. I was working for the local summer rec day camp, and boy does it get old! Only took it because it's a short bike ride away, and I don't know how to drive, and I knew I could get the damn job. Nothing else panned out, either. But it's good, because I get about 3 weeks to myself to prepare for The Big Move without any other obligations other than spending time with the boy, and that's certainly not the kind of obligation to grudge against. I am really excited. The last couple of days all I've done is read (and accidentally reread) some Janice Evanovich novels. In addition to the typical tasks a non-vegetative human being performs on a daily basis. I spend a lot of time on Facebook, but that's fun and semi-productive, as I joined a mix cd trade group with a few my fellow soon-to-be classmates. And I've contacted all of my roommates. We are six, all together. But don't have heart palpitations for me over that. We are sharing a suit which equals 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a hallway. MUCH better than sharing showers and toilets with a whole floor of girls. My actual ROOMmate is from NJ. The others are from NH, TX, Jordan, and Zimbabwe/Switzerland. Quite the diverse group, I'd say.

Now, I have an other book to read, in addition to laudry to tend to. Moikka, those of you who matter.
